Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Chapter 1 The Boy Who Lived
In this chapter the first people we encounter are the dreadful Dursleys. There's many excited whispers among strangely garbed people, there's owls flying everywhere and shooting stars across the sky. Later on we meet some more strangely garbed people and find out they're totally awesome. We also find out a bit more about Harry Potter and the tragic life that is his.
A lot of people may not care about this fact. But Petunia Dursley IS A BLONDE.
"Mrs.Dursley was thin and blonde..."
I always thought Aunt Petunia was a brunette as she is in the movie but...a blonde. That really changes a lot for me. And no it's not because it's blonde (I'd feel the same way with another hair color), it just changes how I picture Petunia.
Also I'd like to add how much I love these (wizard) people.
How did you know it was me?' she asked.
"My dear Professor, I've never seen a cat sit so stiffly."
I forgot just how much of a softie Hagrid is. :]
Memorable Lines:
"...Scars come in handy. I have one myself above my left knee that is a perfect map of the London Underground..." (Dumbledore on Harry Potter and scars.)
